The duration of the program is at least 7 weeks. Beginning and ending dates might be flexible to accommodate the needs of the particular student and the faculty member.

Students choose from the research projects of KU faculty to match their areas of interest. In case of their acceptance to the program, they work closely with faculty mentors and their research groups that include graduate and PhD students.

Students are exposed to a broad range of new concepts and research techniques which help to improve their independent thinking and creativity.

Upon completing the program successfully, eligible students will be given participation certificate.

The medium of instruction is English, unless otherwise specified by the project owner academician.

Summer Research Programs are free of charge.

Program will take place between July and  August, however each project dates may vary depending on the project and the faculty member. Dates may vary for each program and will be communicated to admitted students before the program’s starts.
