Science Diplomacy Award from the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) – Assoc. Prof. Sedat Nizamoğlu

The first ever Science Diplomacy Award from the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) was presented to Assoc. Prof. Sedat Nizamoğlu from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The award, given to outstanding scientists who are recognized with prestigious national/international awards and receive and successfully execute large-scale international grants.

“Most Successful Institution Award” to Koç University from Horizon 2020

Koç University was deemed worthy of the award for being the university that produced the highest number of projects among universities in Turkey with 52 projects implemented within the scope of ``Horizon 2020`` and received the highest funding support with a total of 23.8 million Euros. With this award, Prof. Dr. İhsan Solaroglu, Dr. Faculty Member Didem Unat and Assoc. Dr. Erdem Yörük's outstanding researches were selected among the most successful projects.

Koç University was officially recognized as a ``Research University`` by YÖK at the ``Research Universities Meeting`` held at Ankara Bilkent Hotel.

Koç University Received the ``Triple Crown`` Title

Koç University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Graduate School of Business received accreditation from AACSB International, the longstanding global accreditation body for business schools and the largest business education network connecting students, educators and businesses worldwide.
